Biography
I provide psychotherapy for individual adults and adolescents, offering therapeutic support and interventions which are tailored to the unique needs and personalities of those whom I am fortunate to serve. Working from a disciplined eclectic perspective, I collaborate with my patients to discover new and more helpful ways to cope with life's challenges and work towards their goals and aspirations. Whether the work is short- or long-term in nature, my approach is grounded in the belief that every person deserves and benefits most from a course of treatment which is individually tailored to their specific strengths and challenges.
I specialize in working with people who are navigating phases of life which involve shifts in their sense of identity, including marriage, becoming a parent, divorce, career change, retirement, and navigating the many stages of the aging process - whether in a loved one, or in one's self.
I also have extensive experience working with men's issues, including addressing concerns related to masculinity and gender roles, issues of identity, and learning to better experience and express a full range of emotions in a healthy way; for many men, this also means redefining their relationship with anger.
