Biography

As a licensed clinical psychologist, I have experience working with adolescents, parents, families, couples and adults. I have helped people overcome addictions, cope with depression and anxiety, resolve relationship issues, and navigate life transitions. My years of success can be attributed to my attentiveness to each client and their individual needs.

I believe therapy is a way for people to connect and access their own wisdom to make the necessary life changes that are the most aspiring and fulfilling for them.  I invite people to explore areas that may be affecting them in order to make a transition to where they would like to be within their lives. My therapeutic approach is integrated with empirically supported treatments and a relational and humanistic style. I am warm, accepting and authentic, action-oriented and solution-focused.

I have over ten years of experience combined working as a psychologist and conducting social work within the child welfare field. I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Fort Lewis College in Colorado, my Masters degree in Forensic Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara. I moved to California and completed my internship with Marin County Health & Human Services. I conducted my residency training at Kaiser Permanente and have worked within the Department of Psychiatry and Chemical Dependency Services Department.  I have facilitated psychotherapy groups, individual and family therapy sessions, along with parent coaching and education
