You are invited to be a part of the SFPA think tank to help address the homeless situation here in SF.

Dear SFPA,

Jorge, Akiko, Khashayar and I had the fortunate opportunity to meet Assemblymember Chiu at an event. After the event, I contacted him and explained that we at the San Francisco Psychological Association would love to be a resource to him and his administration. I suggested that one way we may be able help was for SFPA members to get together and brainstorm ideas about how to help address the homeless problem here in San Francisco. I proposed we develop a think tank. Assemblymember Chiu thought this was a good idea and asked that I gather the feedback and provide him a memo that he would share with his administration.

I ask for your participation! Please let me know if you would be interested in joining the think tank. I ask each participant to come prepared with your ideas. Each participant will be given an opportunity to share their ideas and I will then send a memo to Assemblymember Chiu.

The think tank will take place December 2nd from 9 am to 11 am at:

Rams, Inc.

4355 Geary Blvd.

San Francisco, CA 94118

I look forward to working with you on this important project! I am hopeful that our contributions have the potential to effect change and inform policy. If you are unable to attend but have ideas that you would like to share please send me an email.

Warmly,

Robert
