Zion, 2200 Post St., Hellman Hall, San Francisco 94115 Presenter: Dr. Khashayar Farhadi Langroudi is an Intake Assessment Coordinator, Psychological Assistant at Kaiser Permanente, South San Francisco. In this presentation, Khashayar Farhadi Langroudi, Psy.D. will present on basic principles of working with transgender and gender non-conforming clients using the guideline recommended by APA Div. 44 (Society for the Psychology of Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity) and experiential exercises. Dr. Farhadi Langroudi is a Chair of diversity committee at ACBS and member of diversity committee at APA Div. 9 (The Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Diversity Committee). His recent publication was on the topic of the intersectionality of GSM and Ethnicity in Mindfulness and Acceptance for Gender and Sexual Minorities: A Clinician’s Guide to Fostering Compassion, Connection, and Equality Using Contextual Strategies. He uses third wave behaviors such as Compassion Focus Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy providing services to adults.

CPA is co-sponsoring with SFPA. The California Psychological Association (CPA) is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. CPA maintains responsibility for this program and its contents. Important Notice Those who attend the workshop and complete the CPA evaluation form will receive 1.5 continuing education credits. Please note that APA CE rules require that we only give credit to those who attend the entire workshop. Those arriving more than 15 minutes after the start time or leaving before the workshop is completed will not receive CE credits.
